Announcing the Endowment Match Award Recipients!

To encourage local nonprofit endowment building, Waco Foundation launched the Endowment Match Campaign this summer. We are pleased to announce the Endowment Match Award Recipients:
  • Animal Birth Control Clinic
  • Care Net Pregnancy Center
  • Family Abuse Center
  • Fuzzy Friends Rescue
  • Waco Regional Baptist Association
An endowment fund provides ongoing support for the organization from the income generated from the fund - all for the benefit of a charitable cause. By participating in the campaign, these organizations are eligible to receive a 10:1 match up to $10,000 from Waco Foundation as they work to build their endowment fund.

To celebrate with these organizations and encourage endowment gifts, Waco Foundation awarded a $500 and $250 door prize at the annual holiday reception to be donated to two of the endowment match recipients. Ellen Derrick won the $500 door prize and Tom Clowe won the $250 door prize.  Both chose to give their gift to the Animal Birth Control Clinic endowment fund.

Waco Foundation is committed to supporting local nonprofits through grants, guidance and fund management, strengthening their ability to make an impact on critical issues in our community both today, and in the future. Waco Foundation will continue to provide education and support to help organizations grow their endowment funds so our local nonprofits can continue to serve our community for years to come.
