Administrative Assistant, Leadership & Staff


Alish Zuniga joined Waco Foundation in February of 2021 and serves as the Foundation’s Administrative Assistant. Alish moved to Waco in December 2020 from Temple. She graduated from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. During her time in college, she taught English in Ukraine and studied abroad in London. During her time traveling she loved learning about different cultures and people groups. Prior to working at Waco Foundation, she was an educator and most recently a client manager.

As part of her role, she supports the Mission work of the Foundation, including race equity, capacity building and administrative duties for reception and the executive office. Alish has always had a heart for bridging gaps and is excited for the future of Waco as it continues to cultivate race equity.
