Soo is a board-certified pediatrician who serves as the Medical Advisor and Child Sexual Abuse Examiner at the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children. She is the founder of Camp Careful, a program whose mission is to educate parents, children, and the community about the prevention of child sexual abuse. She has served on numerous boards throughout the community and has been involved in various nonprofits and organizations including The Junior League of Waco, Providence Foundation, McLennan County Medical Alliance, and First Methodist Waco. She is married to orthopedic surgeon Jacob Battle and has two children at Midway schools.
