Senior Accountant, Leadership & Staff

Zuleima (Zuly) Velazquez joined Waco Foundation in December 2025 as Senior Accountant. She brings nine years of public accounting experience, including managing and overseeing audit engagements for nonprofit and governmental organizations. Her background includes financial reporting, compliance, and audit oversight, with a strong focus on supporting mission-driven organizations in operating efficiently and responsibly.

Zuly is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

She is passionate about using her financial expertise to support meaningful community impact through the work of Waco Foundation.
