Staff Accountant, Leadership & Staff
Bonnie Sneed joined Waco Foundation in August 2025 as a Staff Accountant after more than 30 years of teaching music in higher education. She brings a diverse professional background that includes accounting, financial planning, and nonprofit service. Bonnie has served as a bookkeeper for various Waco organizations since 2019 and has passed the CFP® exam.
She holds an Associate of Accounting from McLennan Community College and has completed 18 hours toward a Master of Accountancy at Tarleton State University. Bonnie also holds a doctorate in music with a specialty in choral conducting.
Bonnie’s accounting experience includes financial planning, accounts payable and receivable, grant management, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax preparation. She is passionate about supporting the arts and nonprofit organizations, and strengthening the Waco and McLennan County community is what drew her to Waco Foundation.
