Melli Wickliff has worked to better the communities she has lived in throughout her whole career. After completing her undergraduate and law degrees in Minnesota, she worked for the Chicago Housing Authority managing the research and reporting arm of the agency. She and her husband then moved to Wisconsin where Melli worked for the Milwaukee public school district. Since moving to Waco in 2015, Melli has used her legal expertise to serve several local nonprofits. She sits on the boards of Transformation Waco, St. Paul’s Episcopal School and the Waco chapter of Jack and Jill of America. She also graduated from the LeadershipPLENTY Institute in 2017. She and her husband have four young daughters.
