Board of Trustees
Mike Raymond was born and bred in Cincinnati, OH. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brown University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management before embarking on a forty-five year career in marketing and advertising. He served as a marketing director for Coors Brewing, Vice President of Marketing for Domino’s Pizza, Senior Vice President of Marketing and President of Curves International, Chief Marketing Officer for Jenny Craig, and Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
Throughout his career, he has volunteered for a number of community boards and committees. He has chaired the Cameron Park Zoo Board, the Vanguard Board of Trustees, the Vanguard Foundation, and the Lake Shore Baptist Deacons. He also served as chair of the Lake Shore Baptist Finance Committee for a number of years. Finally, he has been a board member of the National Children’s Cancer Society, Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce and the Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas Community Board.
He lives in Waco with his wife Beth and has two adult children living in Boulder, CO (Carolyn Twomey) and Austin, TX (Drew Raymond).
